PNH Security Engineering · Hostile Vehicle Mitigation

Model the real approach.
Certify the required barrier rating.

VECTOR solves the critical impact speed along the entire approach path — every straight and curve, friction-circle coupled, EV-aware — and returns the required ASTM F2656 M-rating, an ASTM F3016 S-rating where feasible, and a documented report. Physics-complete vehicle vector analysis, in minutes.

What VECTOR computes

Critical velocity profile

A three-pass solve over the whole approach: curvature limits in every bend, traction- and power-limited acceleration on the straights, and a braking envelope back from each downstream constraint — coupled through the friction circle.

Required rating

The perpendicular kinetic energy at the barrier line sets the ASTM F2656 M-rating, with an ASTM F3016 S-rating reported where the vector falls inside the low-speed envelope, and the required penetration class from your setback.

Documented report

A complete input register, method comparison against the legacy single-radius check, both figures, and the full limitations and disclaimer package — or an engineer-reviewed and signed issue.

Engineer-Reviewed & Signed reports are $499 each, on top of any plan — reviewed by a PNH protective design engineer within 2 business days. The reviewer may request changes or decline to sign, in which case the review fee is refunded.
